Rina is a serial entrepreneur and Asian thought leader in the fields of startup incubation and acceleration, angel investments, venture capital funding, entrepreneurship education, startup ecosystem development, social enterprises, micro-entrepreneurship, and technology-enabled businesses. She is a hands-on entrepreneur with a proven track record in setting up and accelerating startup enterprises with technology or social focus.

As a Co-Founder and Board Director of FICUS Venture Fund, Rina was instrumental in launching the first Shariah-compliant investment company in Malaysia that upholds highest standards of ethical practice. Rina is also a Board Member of the Malaysian Trade (MATRADE) Commission, where she participated in crafting and executing Malaysia’s export promotion strategy in line with the government’s Industry 4.0 Economic Agenda.
