Growing up an enthusiastic meat eater in Texas, Jacek watched Earthlings during his philosophy bachelors which sent him down a path of animal activism.  After a few years of militantly promoting veganism, he pivoted to help animals through a market-oriented approach. This led him to attain an MBA in entrepreneurship and build the ProVeg Incubator, an accelerator exclusively for plant-based and cultured food startups.

He is now the founder of Kuleana, the Impossible Foods of seafood. Their first product is plant-based raw tuna. Kuleana recently graduated from Y-Combinator and just closed their seed round.
